restaurant's waiter

We are looking for a customer-oriented, proactive, and reliable team member to join our small Italian restaurant in the heart of Helsinki.

Your responsibilities will include welcoming guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, managing table reservations, and ensuring that the dining area remains clean, organized, and welcoming.

You will work as part of a close-knit and professional team where everyone supports one another and contributes to both an excellent customer experience and a positive working atmosphere.

We are looking for someone who is genuinely interested in committing to the job for the long term. Our goal is to find a person we can work with for a long time. Therefore, we hope your studies, hobbies, personal situation, or other commitments will not significantly limit your availability for shifts.

To succeed in this role, you should be a fast learner, able to work well under pressure, and comfortable adapting and improvising when situations change. A valid Hygiene Passport is mandatory, and an Alcohol Serving Passport must be obtained within one month of starting the job.

Previous experience in the restaurant industry is considered an advantage, but the most important qualities are the right attitude, reliability, and a genuine willingness to learn and improve.

There will usually be approximately 1–2 shifts per week, and occasionally more depending on the restaurant's needs. Shifts are often in the evenings and on weekends. This position is particularly suitable for someone looking for a part-time job alongside studies or other activities, provided that you are flexible and available when needed.

You will also work as an extra employee, meaning you may occasionally be offered additional shifts when extra staff is needed.

The position will be filled as soon as a suitable candidate is found.

Fluent Finnish and excellent English skills are mandatory.
