Project Procurement Manager

Join us in building a sustainable society powered by clean energy and reliable connections! We are now looking for Project Procurement Manager in Helsinki or Rauma. The position can also be based in any of our other offices in Finland. We offer flexible hybrid working opportunities.

As a Project Procurement Manager, you play a critical role in ensuring successful project delivery. You are responsible for planning and executing procurement activities throughout the project lifecycle, from customer tendering and project kick-off to final delivery and close-out.

Working closely with project teams, category management, suppliers, and business stakeholders, you ensure that projects have the right suppliers, materials, subcontractors, and services available at the right time, cost, and quality. Through proactive procurement leadership, supplier management, and risk mitigation, you contribute directly to project profitability, schedule performance, delivery reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end procurement planning and execution
• Act as the main procurement contact for project stakeholders
• Manage sourcing processes (supplier selection, RFQs, negotiations, contracts)
• Ensure optimal total cost of ownership and savings
• Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier issues, claims, and onboarding
• Build and maintain key supplier relationships
• Oversee purchase orders, deliveries, and logistics
• Ensure accurate procurement data in ERP systems
• Identify and mitigate procurement risks
• Ensure compliance with policies, contracts, and regulations
• Maintain proper documentation and audit trails
• Integrate ESG and sustainability into sourcing decisions and promote responsible supplier practices

Requirements:

• Relevant degree (e.g. Supply Chain, Business, Engineering)
• 5+ years of procurement experience in project-based environments
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution
• Fluent in English and Finnish
