OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR / YLLÄS

We are currently recruiting OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR for winter season 2026-2027

Safartica is a privately owned DMC, safari house and activity provider operating in the city of Rovaniemi, skiing resorts of Ylläs and Levi, and Saariselkä. We provide all land services, including accommodation, transfers, and our own nature activities such as snowmobiling from 2 hours to 1-week Expeditions, husky, and reindeer safaris from 500 m to overnight adventures, Aurora tours, forest skiing, ice floating to mention few. Your work is to plan, execute and supervise daily operational work. You are the closest supervisor for the safari guides and take care of all logistics of people, snowmobiles, and transportation. Work tasks include customer service by email, by phone and face-to-face, and describing and selling activities, use of reservation systems and cashier, and co-operation with operation team and suppliers. Work is done mainly in English but as you will be in contact with our local suppliers, Finnish language skills will work as a huge benefit for you.

We expect from you:

• experience of working in tourism business

• fluent English

• knowledge of Ylläs area

• driving license (B class)

• organization and efficiency skills

• skills to cope with fast-changing environment and under pressure

• sales spirit and flexibility

• knowledge of Microsoft Office -tools

The following are considered as advantage:

• Knowledge of reservation systems (Travius, Bókun)

• Knowledge of working hour system (MaraPlan)

• Finnish and French language skills
