We are looking for a responsible Poultry Production Worker for a modern laying hen farm

We run a large-scale, automated laying hen operation in the Loimaa area, and as our facilities continue to develop, we are looking for a reliable and proactive team member to help with animal care and daily production routines.

We are expanding our operations, and our new production hall will be up and running this autumn. We are now looking for a team member who can jump into action in November!

The official start date is in November, but if you wish, we can arrange an earlier start (e.g., part-time helping with other farm work or setting up the new hall).

What does your workday look like?

At the core of your job is ensuring that our production animals are doing well and that the facility's equipment runs smoothly. We will fully train you for the tasks, but a typical day includes:

• Daily rounds: Monitoring the health, behavior, and living conditions of the hens.

• Technical monitoring: Ensuring the automated feeding, watering, and climate control systems are functioning correctly, and troubleshooting minor technical issues.

• Egg packing operations: Overseeing the smooth running of egg collection, sorting, and packing.

• Hygiene and cleaning: Maintaining the premises and strictly adhering to our biosecurity and salmonella prevention programs.

We do not require a formal degree in agriculture—your attitude and willingness to learn are what matter most. We highly value the following:

• Care for animals and attentiveness: You notice if something is wrong within the flock and understand the importance of animal welfare.

• Common sense and basic technical understanding: A modern poultry farm is highly automated. You are not afraid to grab a tool if a conveyor belt jams, and you don't freeze in front of a control panel.

• Diligence: You understand exactly why strict routines and biosecurity protocols are vital in our line of work.

• Physical fitness: The work involves walking and some physical daily routines.
